Georg is a former physicist who specialized in data analysis. He joined the police force about seven years ago and has since been working as a senior investigator on child sexual abuse cases which require a deep technical understanding, for example darknet investigations.

He is working on cybercrime cases, like tackling ransomware groups, as well. Georg has been part of several joint international investigations and is regularly attending cyber defence exercises.
