Mark is a Detective Chief Superintendent from Devon and Cornwall Police in the UK, a serving Police Officer for over 21 years. His experience includes leading Child Abuse Investigation, On-line Child Sexual Exploitation, Management of Sexual Offenders, Missing and Exploited Children, Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking and Organised Immigration Crime teams.
Mark has a Masters in Strategic Policing and his research thesis explored the use of covert tactics is Child Abuse Investigations. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in the Behavioural Psychology of Child Sex Offenders and is registered Professional Child Abuse Investigator.
Mark’s leadership experience spans command of operational, community, partnership, analytical and investigative functions. He is an accredited senior leader with the Chartered Management Institute and Institute of Leadership and Management and a proud member of the Society of Evidence Based Policing and a #HeforShe champion.
